April 17th - Maya Users Group Meeting !

Borislav "Bobo" Petrov, and Thomas Phariss of Thinkbox (makers of Deadline, Frost & Krakatoa) will be joining us to demonstrate workflows with the new Krakatoa for Maya particle renderer.

Come learn how you can create awesome particle effects inside Maya, such as smoke, dust and plasma. Krakatoa allows you to generate hundreds of millions of particles using regular Maya particles or nParticles, import and manipulate 3rd party particle simulations from products like RealFlow, or convert geometry into point clouds and render them using various volumetric shading algorithms in a matter of seconds.
