FEBRUARY 1st 2012 Users group Meeting !
Hello Everybody and Happy New Year.
Finally our Maya # and year # match.. ( but not for long....)

We always seem to run out of time, so (so far) we have a single presentation from Buck, but that should leave time for questions, comments, and meeting fellow 3d users.
and if there's still time Steve Mann will show a brief look into a recent Chrlx ad

Ryan O'Phelan and his team from Buck will be presenting and discussing the making of their amazing commercial for V8.

Ryan O'Phelan is the CG Supervisor for Buck's New York office. He is a
lead artist and manages the 3D department. As a generalist, he likes
to get his hands into all parts of the workflow from previs through
compositing.

I'm working on some upcoming events, but I also wanted to get the word out for Steven Roselle's upcoming webinar for bonus tools and layout tools. Steven has been putting out some really great stuff lately with updating the two "tools" packs. The webinar is going to be on WednesdayJanuary 18th.
